Description
The Etna Smart Tour excursion is our new entry level proposal for those who want to have a guided experience on Etna at a reasonable price but with the quality and professionalism that have always been paid attention to by our organization. If you have a car, this could be the tour for you, you just have to reach the established meeting point where your guide will be waiting for you (note: we only use qualified guides!). From there, evaluate the abilities and expectations of the participants, you will be guided on an itinerary that will take you to get to know our volcano up close. Whether it is a walk around ancient extinct craters or an undemanding trek to visit the Valle del Bove, the added value of this excursion, in addition to the beauty of the places, is the presence of the guide who will illustrate the naturalistic characteristics that make our territory, declared a UNESCO heritage site since 2013. Optionally it is possible to add a visit to a volcanic cave with lights and speleologist helmet.
The excursion takes place at more convenient times than other tours, to also meet everyone’s needs. For these reasons it is a particularly suitable excursion proposal for families with children, teenagers or groups of friends. Important: suitable shoes are required for those wishing to undertake a trekking itinerary.

9,45 o 15,45 - Meeting with the guide
Participants are invited to arrive at the meeting point a quarter of an hour before the scheduled departure. With proper equipment, especially trekking shoes (no low shoes), packed lunch and at least an adequate amount of water (1 and a half liters). If you need to rent equipment, it must be requested before departure.

ETNA SOUTH PATHS
Among the possible itineraries in Etna Sud, recommended if you come from Catania, Syracuse, Acireale, Giarre and in general from the south of Sicily: 1. Ring of the Silvestri Craters and lava flow 1892 - Difficulty: Easy. 2. Schiena dell'Asino and Valle del Bove Trail - Difficulty: Medium. The meeting point is the one shown on the map on this page. If you come from Messina, Taormina and in general from the Etna villages on the northern side of the volcano, these itineraries are planned: 1. Monti Sartorius crater ring. Difficulty: easy. 2. 2002 eruptive buttonhole. Difficulty: medium.

Trekking shoes are mandatory for this excursion. Also recommended: backpack, sunglasses, windbreaker/sweatshirt, min. 1 liter of water. If you need it, you can take advantage of our rental through online booking.
